Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran finally breaks silence on split from Chloe Burrows revealing she’s ‘cut contact’ with him
LOVE Island star Toby Aromolaran has opened up about his split from Chloe Burrows and revealed that she has "cut contact" with him.
Toby - who called it quits with Chloe last October after meeting on the ITV show in 2021 - said he has never spoken about his break-up because it has been too difficult.
The semi-professional footballer, 24, admitted he had been "running" from the real reason behind the relationship breakdown.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Toby said about the split: "At the end of the day it wasn’t a hard decision – once you’re having serious core problems, really and truly it’s done, isn’t it.
"It’s one of those ones, because it’s my relationship I don’t want to say what those issues were.
"I haven’t really said it out loud to anyone really and truly, it’s almost like I'm running from it. I run from it."

Toby said that the break-up was final and he does not see himself rekindling his romance with blonde beauty Chloe, 26.
He continued: "I think that books firmly closed.
"I don’t think I could let myself.
"I always say to people ‘why do you get back with your exes?’ and it always pulls you back.
"I’ve thought many times, shall I get back with her? But I just couldn’t. I can’t, I can’t, I just can’t do it.
"I was me who broke who with her. I miss being in a relationship. I miss us privately away from everything."
The podcast host then revealed that he and Chloe have cut contact, saying it was her decision.
When asked if they still speak, Toby said: "We were talking and then now we’re not talking.
"We’ve gone back to silence.
"I feel once you’ve lived with someone like that and got so deep in.
"It’s on her side that we’re not talking."
After taking a break from the dating world, Toby said he is now ready for a relationship, admitting he's fed up of being lonely.
"I’m not enjoying single life. I need a girlfriend really and truly. I’m not enjoying single life," Toby said.
"I don’t know where to find them, that’s the problem.
"One thing I’ve always said is that I can’t go onto the dating apps – I’m not going onto the dating apps.
"I can’t meet my dream woman on a dating app - I can’t tell people that I met someone on a dating app – that’s not my plans."
Toby was also quick to address romance rumours with co-star Faye Winter after the pair set tongues wagging when they enjoyed a dinner date back in April.
He told us: " I can’t get with Faye – it just wouldn’t make sense.
"She’s like a sister and we’ve both been so into each other’s past relationship, it can’t ever be like that.
"There is no chemistry but we have friend chemistry."
Back in October, sources confirmed that Chloe and Toby decided to "go their separate ways" a year after leaving the show together.
The insider revealed: "Chloe and Toby have decided to go their separate ways. They have grown apart and there's no major hard feelings.
"Toby is currently staying with a friend while they work out what to do."
The Sun told how the pair held crisis talks last April after their busy work schedules kept them apart.
They later celebrated a year together and Chloe even revealed that Toby had proposed to her - but she said no.
In a recent video Chloe said: "He actually asked me and I said no."
Toby then explained: "You know why she said that, because I told the newspapers that if someone's gonna get married and someone's gonna propose then Chloe's getting down on one knee."
Unimpressed by the idea of popping the question herself, Chloe said: "I'll never f***ing do that though, so you'll have to do it."
Chloe and Toby came in second place on the ITV2 dating show during series seven behind winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.
