OPPENHEIMER fans were left stunned as they spotted Hollyoaks legend Guy Burnet in the blockbuster film.
Guy, 39, played Craig Dean in the Channel 4 soap between 2002 and 2008, but has swapped the small screen for the big one in recent years.
He enjoyed a lead role in Pitch Perfect 3 opposite Anna Kendrick and as Ewan McGregor's sidekick in the Johnny Depp-led crime caper Mortdecai.
Having established himself as a major player in US TV and film with roles alongside Hollywood's elite, it's no surprise he's popped up in Christopher Nolan's latest war epic.
Guy plays scientist George Eltenton in the picture, and even walked the red carpet along with the likes of Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and Robert Downey Jr. at the UK premiere.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Oppenheimer is absolutely breathtaking and, hopefully, the beginning of Craig from Hollyoaks’ renaissance."

Another added: "Was that Craig from Hollyoaks in Oppenheimer?"
Someone else said, "Craig from Hollyoaks is in Oppenheimer???"
During his Hollyoaks years, Guy was involved in a series of nail-biting plotlines as his teenage character Craig struggled with his sexuality.
Craig went on to get engaged to John-Paul McQueen and they formed one of the soap's most popular couples.

Despite leaving in 2007, Guy briefly returned to the role the following year for a rare moment of soapland bliss. Craig and John-Paul were given a happy ending as they left the series for a new life together.
Years later John-Paul later returned to the soap without Craig, but his lover's off-screen presence still loomed large.
In 2017, John-Paul departed once again to seemingly join Craig in Singapore.
As he and son Matthew prepared to fly away to the Far East to start a new life, his phone rang with Craig's name, hinting at a reunion.
Guy's credit list also includes shows such as Chicago Fire, Hand of God, Counterpart and Ray Donovan.
