ITV HAS confirmed the fate of a legendary game show after four decades on screens.
The broadcaster has commissioned another series of Family Fortunes for ITV1.
Gino D'Acampo is also set to return as host of the rebooted game show, having taken over from Vernon Kay.
Applications have opened for the new series, with filming set to take place in September and October.
It comes as the current series recently came to an end.
Family Fortunes pits two families against each other as they answer survey questions.

The show ran from 1980 until 2002, with Les Dennis being at the helm during its most successful years.
ITV execs revived the format in 2006 with a celebrity edition and Kay on hosting duties.
That was shelved in 2015 before the channel gave it another chance in 2021 by bringing back the civilian run.
It's good news for chef Gino, 47, who has recently had a turbulent few months.
