Love Island spin off start date and exotic location revealed as controversial show winner is in talks to join

LOVE Island might still be on our screens and the US version has just started – but we don’t have long to wait for an All Star series.

ITV bosses have been working on the programme for some time and are hoping to reunite some of the show’s sexiest former stars.

And now The Sun can reveal filming will start in October and it will take place in a very exotic location.

A source said: “Filming kicks off in Fiji in October - that’s where they film the US version of the show.

"Bosses are in talks with over 100 contestants from the US, UK and Australian versions of the show including a controversial UK winner and one of the most memorable girls from a legendary season.”

It was previously reported that single stars including Maura Higgins, from the fifth series, Sophie Piper from the sixth series, former 2017 series winner Kem Cetinay, and fan favourite Scott Thomas, who was in the show in 2016, were all on the wish list.

But Maura recently revealed she had turned it down and has instead landed herself a huge role presenting social media for the American version of the show.

Speaking to   she said: "I can't see myself ever doing that again, no. I've been asked, but I've said no.

"I just think, I've done it once, I've had my time on Love Island. I don't really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future."

ITV America had no comment when approached by The Sun.
