Inside Garden Rescue star Lee Burkhill’s life off screen – from ordinary job to cruel bullying
LEE Burkhill is a garden designer and horticulture expert from Lancashire who is best known for his role in Garden Rescue.
The TV expert first joined the line-up of experts on the BBC Show in 2020 alongside garden makeover queen Charlie Dimmock.
Lee, 40, took to the airwaves after the departures of Arit Anderson and David and Harry Rich from the show.
However away from TV, lee helms from humble beginnings as he initially started his career working in IT for over ten years.
He then discovered that working outdoors was his calling and quit his full-time job to concentrate on a career of gardening.
Lee now works as a YouTuber, presenter and blogger and has since earned himself the moniker 'Garden Ninja'.

But the Garden Rescue star's life was not plain sailing he previously revealed that he was bullied as a teenager.
The TV presenter is openly gay and he previously opened up on his experiences in a candid tweet.
He wrote: "Starting to appreciate a microdose of what trans people must endure from some erroneous yet vicious online #trolls.
"Reminds me of being bullied as a teen for being gay.

According to Celeb Pie, Lee is married but prefers to keep his private life out of the spotlight.
The TV personality has been the recipient of many awards in recent years.
In 2016, his gardening blog won him an award at the RHS & BBC Feel Good Gardens.
Two years later, he was also awarded the Chelsea Flower Show Director Generals Trade Standard Award.
