Pub landlord posts Vera series 13 spoilers as he shuts down business for ‘full-on’ ITV filming in behind-the-scenes pics
A PUB landlord has posted spoilers for Vera series 13 as he was forced to shut down his business.
The owner of The Central Bar in Gateshead did not accept any customers during the "full-on" filming for the ITV drama.
He took to social media from his establishment's official profile as he posted a selection of behind the scenes snaps of the new series of Vera.
In several photos, the pub has been renamed as The Griffin for the crime series.
The new pictures show a hub of activity at the location as DCI Vera Stanhope (played by Brenda Blethyn) can be seen standing outside the public house.
She was spotted standing beside a returning DS Joe Ashworth (played by David Leon) alongside a plethora of other extras in coats and police uniform.

After a decade away from show, earlier this year it was confirmed that Leon would reprise his role on the show.
Vera's infamous Land Rover was seen parked outside the pub as staff from the bar took photos of Brenda with extras on the set.
The account for Central Bar wrote on Twitter: "Phew! Well that was a full-on week what with the filming of #Vera here all day on Wednesday (have I mentioned that?)!
"In the meantime, here’s a bit of a photo/video dump of the day so we can get it out of our system!

According to , the show's cast have also been spotted shooting scenes in the centre of Newcastle.
At the start of July, filming took place next to Newcastle Quayside Law Courts.
Other locations to be featured in the upcoming series include North Shields, Wylam and Gosforth.
