Hollyoaks star axed after ten years as they admit ‘I cried for three days’
A HOLLYOAKS star has been axed from the show after ten years as she admitted she 'cried for three days'.
The Channel 4 soap has called time on the character of Grace Black after a decade of seeing her on our screens.
Grace, a hot-headed gangster yet family woman, was played by Tamara Wall.
Viewers recently watched as Grace was sent to prison for her role in the botched heist plan.
However, it was actually her exit storyline as Tamara has revealed producers have dropped her from Hollyoaks permanently.
The 45-year-old said: "It's absolutely devastating. When I got told, I bawled my eyes out for three days, I was so upset – it's been the best time of my life."

She added to OK! Magazine: "It wasn't my decision, but I understand. It's the name of the game, and Grace was going to get her comeuppance at some point. In the end, she probably deserved it. But I'm sure she'll find her way out eventually, she'll be back."
Tuesday's first look episode of Hollyoaks over on E4 aired Grace's final on screen scenes.
Tamara went on to say the cast and crew were shocked and devastated after learning she was leaving.
"I can't tell you how lovely everyone was when people found out I was leaving, they were gobsmacked. They were really sad and that made me really happy! It's a nice feeling to know you'll be missed."
With Grace very much still alive, albeit behind bars, there's potential her character could return.
She teased: "There's part of me that wants the big, dramatic exit of being killed off.
"But there's too much of me that loves that they've kept the door open."
