Richard Madeley wears his heart on his sleeve and Ed Balls is a barrel of laughs, says GMB’s Laura Tobin
GOOD Morning Britain star Laura Tobin has lifted on what it's like working alongside some of the best-loved presenters on the ITV show.
The weather presenter, 41, praised her fellow co-star Richard Madeley for always giving his honest opinion on show, saying he "wears his heart on his sleeve".
Laura - who has been a firm favourite on the ITV show since 2014 - also applauded Ed Balls for being a breath of fresh air.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Laura said: "What I think is really nice is that we have a mix of people rotating round - I think for the viewers they're just thinking...'who is it today?'.
"Every partnership is different and for me I get something different from everyone I work with.
"Ed Balls is really bubbly and really funny, he loves the weather which is great for me.
"When I'm actually doing the weather he sits and listens for the entire time.
"No questions at the end of the day, he knows what the weather is going to do in great detail."
She continued: "Richard [Madeley] wears his heart on his sleeve, he says what he's thinking and I think he says what the viewers are thinking and what they want to know.
"He is an inner geek, I love it, he'll message me about temperature anomalies the other day because he saw something.

"He's given me a book to read, he's always passing onto me interesting science and space stuff.
"We're like kindred spirits which might be surprising."
Laura added: "I would love to hang out with Richard and Judy after work, if feel like they know so much.
"My stories wouldn't be interesting enough for him, he has so many interesting stories that lead to another and another and another. And you're just like 'wow, you know so much'."
It comes after Laura told The Sun earlier this year that she doesn't see herself as a "sex symbol" but loves being the "girl next door".
From skintight leather trousers, to miniskirts and figure-hugging dresses, Laura said she loves mixing up her wardrobe each morning and is unaware of the positive reaction from fans.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about being a sex symbol, Laura laughed: "I'm definitely not sexy - I would like to think I look nice and presentable and smart.
"I don't think sexy would be a word I would use to describe myself.
"I don't think I'm a glam icon - but I feel I'm the girl next door...like 'she looks cute'.
"I love mixing up my outfits each morning and surprising viewers.
