Towie’s Georgia Kousoulou breaks down in tears as she struggles with son Brody’s latest milestone
EX-TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou broke down in tears as she gears up for her son Brody’s latest milestone.
The reality star – who welcomed her first child with fiancé Tommy Mallet in May 2021 – said she was an emotional wreck thinking about her two-year-old starting nursery in September.
Georgia, 32, said she was panicking about being separated from her son and was struggling to shake the feeling.
She posted a photo of her sobbing and wrote: “Mixed emotions..
lately I have been so teary the thought of Brody starting nursery in September makes me cry.
“I know it will be good for him & he will love it but I can’t help being sad that life as I know it for over two years is finished.
“He has been my shadow everyday.. & now I won’t be with him 3 days a week.
“I know this probably sounds dramatic to some but I can’t help it! Everyone keeps telling me I’ll have so much time & I’ll love it but I can’t see that right now. Is this feeling normal? Does it pass?”
Georgia’s fans were sympathetic and took to the comments section to offer her advice on the situation.
Ex-Towie star Billie Mucklow wrote: “Hahahaha you’ll be fine… after first week you’ll be fine… and be asking for a extra day…”
Reality star Shelby Tribble commented: “I hear you. Brody will love it and will learn new things. It’s so lovely when they come home and have made cute things for you or learnt new things that they can’t wait to tell you about or tell you about his new friends he’s made.”
Georgia’s pal Chloe Lewis said: “Beaus at nursery 3 days Georg, he’s October baby so I get to keep him him for another year until school starts. It’s hard to start with but becomes so normal & he loves it. I’ll come cheer you up.”
Model Dannielle Lloyd shared: “Don’t worry babe you will be glad of the break and he will love it and learn so much.”
While Tommy hilariously posted: “After the day I’ve had listening to him scream the house down I’m sending him to full time school.”
Earlier this year Georgia opened up about her break-up with Tommy, saying it was a positive thing as it only made them “stronger”.
Georgia said their little boy Brody was a “shining light” in helping them reunite and fight for their relationship.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Georgia said: “Our break-up has strengthened our relationship.
“If you had asked me about our relationship in the summer, I would have been like ‘no way’.
“But we’ve actually got through it and we’re stronger than we’ve ever been.
“We had so much more to fight for and when you have a family it’s not as easy as saying ‘we’re not getting on’.
“When you have someone else in the picture that you love and are both obsessed with, then you want to do it for them, obviously if it’s not working then you can’t stay together for the child, but we knew that there was so much to fight for.”
“So Brody definitely helped, helped us see the light.”
