Ferne McCann reveals newborn baby’s very unique name and adorable meaning behind it
FERNE McCann has revealed her first child with fiancé Lorri Haines has been named Finty Francis Haines-McCann.
The 32-year-old welcomed her second daughter on July 6 and has now shared details about her newborn.
Explaining how the couple picked the name, Ferne told : “It was on my name list when I gave birth to Sunday.
"I don’t know where I got it from, but when I typed it in [on Google] I saw Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname is Finty.
"I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else before.
“I just feel so connected to the name – she came out and she was just Finty.

"I think she sounds like a character out of Bridgerton.”
Ferne, who didn't find out the sex until she gave birth, continued: “Francis is my grandad’s name – it’s a nod to Grandad Frank.”
The former Towie star went on to say how her daughter Sunday, five, has already bonded with the little one.
She said: “She has been so good. She’s taken on the big sister role.
"I think it’s a girl’s natural instinct – she’s loving changing the nappy. She finds the poo hysterical.
"She doesn’t understand how delicate Finty is and she’s like, ‘I want to hold her.’ She’s just obsessed with her.”
Ferne also had a home birth as she had hoped and has filmed it all for her show, so fans will be able to see it all unfold.
Ferne and Lorri got engaged last July on holiday after they started dating in 2021.
