Heat viewers brand Danny Dyer’s Channel 5 drama ‘so boring’ they’ve ‘started their Christmas shopping’

DANNY Dyer's new Channel 5 show has caused a heated debate online with many viewers blasting the show's storyline.

The four-part drama started on Tuesday and stars former EastEnders actor Danny.

Running for four consecutive nights, the show is set to wrap tomorrow; however, not all viewers appear to want to stick with it.

Opening to rocky first episode reviews, the show continued last night with Danny's character Steve coming clean about his money issues after his daughter Mia (Matia Marks) thought he was cheating on her mother following his odd behaviour.

Steve's supposed friend Brad (Darren McMullen), however, provided a twist by recording Mia and her boyfriend Jet (Richie Morris) having sex.

Not only had he secretly recorded them he had also watched her alone in her bedroom.

But from the audience's online reaction, the twist couldn't quite spark enough intrigue to stop viewers switching off.

One unimpressed viewer was lured by festive shopping when watching the show.

They tweeted: "This programme is so boring I've started my Christmas shopping. #Heat."

For one onlooker, it inspired them to clean their home, and they said: "This is that boring I've started cleaning #Heat."

One viewer almost reached for the remote control and commented: "Finding this #DannyDyer doing Danny Dyer prog #HEAT #Channel5 really dull & boring! Hard work to stay interested, probably turn off soon."

"#Heat is slow boring TV 4-part drama. Mumbling dialogue not worth the effort," another chimed in.

Heat continues on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm and is available on My5.
