A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton has landed a big new job at This Morning.

The presenter is dipping her toes into the world of dating TV as host of a new miniseries which will air within ITV's flagship daytime show later in the year.

Laura recently teased the new project on social media after jetting to Barbados.

Sharing a picture of an idyllic coastal view, she wrote: ";So I am VERY excited that in just over a weeks time I will be heading to Barbados to present a new dating series...it will be on air in September!"

And she has now confirmed it will be part of This Morning alongside a stunning Instagram shot that showed her walking on a sandy beach in a very glamorous bandeau dress.

She said: "Did sparks fly? Or was it a burn out for the first couple? I am SUPER excited for you to see this dating series on screen in the Autumn this year when you will find out..."

Another shot saw Laura looking red hot beside a fire pit in a dazzling golden jumpsuit.

The career move left some fans worried Laura might have quit the Channel 4 property show, but she reassured them that she is still filming A Place In The Sun.

She told one follower: "Yes! If you watch my stories and see my posts you will see I am!"

The 41-year-old is looking better than ever for the new project and this week she showed off her new long locks.

Mum-of-two Laura swapped her usual bob for platinum blonde extensions and teased it was for 'something exciting'.

One of her followers commented: "Back to your dancing on ice hair. Looks good."

A second penned: "Long hair looks lovely on you."

A third wrote: "Stunning. Looks amazing on you";
