Jay Blades fans have a lot of questions as The Repair Shop host announces both of his shows are ‘done and dusted’

JAY Blades has given fans an update on his television shows by confirming they are 'done and dusted'.

The TV star confirmed he had just wrapped on two exciting new shows away from his most popular series, The Repair Shop.

His fans were full of questions enquiring about the two programmes as well as expressing their excitement about the future endeavors.

Writing on Instagram, Jay penned: "Now that’s a Wrap. Two shows Done & Dusted."

He added: "David & Jay’s Travelling Tool Shed, out in 2024 @bbc Then I explore the West Midlands Though Time for @channel5_tv.

"This one is just like the East End Through Time but a different location.

"Can’t wait for you to see both of them."

His Travelling Tool Shed show will be co-fronted by Only Fools and Horses legend Sir David Jason.

Jay shared a behind the scenes photo of them on set during the recording process.

Writing underneath his exciting announcement, one fan said: "You're a busy man these days! But then you haven't made a programme yet I didn't enjoy."

Another echoed: "It will be a treat to watch. Can't wait."

As a third questioned if Jay ever imagined he would be making such programmes and if he ever thought his career would have headed in this direction.

They said: "Did you ever imagine your life expanding to such an amazing extent?"

Many were also left eager for the shows to arrive on TV.

The Sun previously revealed that Sir David has signed on to become Jay's new co-host on the BBC show.

The pair have been filming in locations around the UK, inviting guests inside their ­specially crafted TV hut to show off the ­ventures they are pursuing as a hobby.

The shack features “Jay and David’s Touring Toolshed” branding — and, once visitors arrive, the duo will even offer advice on how to tinker with their pet projects.

TV source said: “Jay can’t believe he’s making a show with his real-life hero.”

Sir David added: “It’s great to be back on the nation’s TV screens doing something totally different.

“I’ve played a lot of roles in my time but, to be myself, show off my creative passion and help the wonderful people we meet along the way resolve their mechanical masterpiece issues is very rewarding.

“I’ve really enjoyed being on the road with Jay where we have built up a great friendship and had a lot of fun, which I hope the viewers will enjoy watching when it airs.”
