Former Strictly star and Olympian signs up for Celeb SAS Who Dares Wins after ‘career ending’ injury
AN Olympian and former Strictly star has signed up for the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that Anthony Ogogo is the latest famous face to sign up for Channel 4's gruelling Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Anthony, 34, won bronze in boxing at the London 2012 Olympics but was stuck with a career-ending injury to his eye in 2016, forcing him to later take early retirement.
A TV insider told us: "Anthony has been through a lot of adversity in recent years, including countless operations on his eye, so he is used to facing extreme challenges.
"He is a very positive guy and he will throw himself into this endurance test like he does everything else. Expect him to go very far as he is no quitter."
Anthony, who was registered blind due to loss of sight in his left eye, took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, during which he was partnered with Oti Mabuse.
