Baffled EastEnders fans call out ‘plot hole’ with Finlay’s exit – fuming ‘it’s not rocket science!’
BAFFLED EastEnders fans have called out a 'plot hole' as Finlay departed Walford for good.
Recent episodes have seen Finlay Baker - played by Ashley Byam - become an enemy of the Panesar family.
It started when Vinny's revenge plan on Eve Unwin failed, after he cut the brakes on Finlay's car, believing Eve would be driving it to Brighton.
Suki intervened in time to save her secret love, but when Finlay realised who had cut his brakes, he assumed he was the target and wondered why Vinny wanted to do him harm.
After confronting Suki, Finlay quickly realised Eve had been the intended target, and Suki panicked he would figure out what was going on between them.
Suki also issued a thinly-veiled threat that Finlay's brother Felix would be harmed if he didn't leave Albert Square.

But while he didn't want to leave, if he was going to, he wanted a wad of cash to soften the blow and help him set up his new life.
He then departed Walford in emotional scenes, waving goodbye to his family.
However, baffled EastEnders fans called out the 'plot hole' as they realised Finlay and his brother Felix are roommates with Cheslea Fox.
They took to social media to question why Finlay would not just get Cheslea to speak to Ravi, who she is seeing.

One said: “Wonder if before he leaves Finley will tell Chelsea about Ravi threatening him surely she can help?"
A second wrote: "I don't get the Ravi and Finlay storyline. Why wouldn't Finlay tell his friend Eve what happened, his brother that he's being threatened, and Chelsea what Ravi is doing?"
"Finlay, here’s an idea. Tell your flatmate Chelsea to get the guy who fancies her and who was going to invest in your business five minutes ago to back off," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "Ravi will then surely back down cause he isn’t gonna risk losing Chelsea over this."
EastEnders continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
