EastEnders legend makes a surprise return as she goes ‘on a mission’ – but there’s a twist
YEARS have passed since Lisa Fowler was last seen in Albert Square as she moved to Portugal with her daughter and granddaughter.
But the EastEnders legend is set for a shocking return, hellbent on revenge - and she's also keeping a massive secret.
Lisa fled to Portugal with her daughter Louise Mitchell and granddaughter Peggy Taylor in a rush in early 2020 after believing that Phil had arranged for Keanu Taylor to be murdered.
While news of her reached the Square again in 2021, Lisa remained abroad providing for both Louise and Peggy - but she never forgot how much Keanu hurt her daughter.
Regular viewers of the BBC One soap will remember the hunk had an affair with Sharon Watts - betraying Louise as well as her father and his own father figure Phil Mitchell.
This led to him becoming a father with the birth of Sharon's son Albie and Keanu is becoming increasingly involved in the baby's life.

Meanwhile, Louise has been left alone to take care of their daughter Peggy and Lisa's resentment knows no limits as a result.
Soap boss Chris Clenshaw recently teased an explosive summer ahead for all Walford residents and Lisa Fowler will be a part of it.
Actress Lucy Benjamin is reprising her role as her character comes back to Walford with a goal in mind.
"Well, she's definitely come on a mission", the 53-year-old star said during a chat with The Sun and other press.

"She's got what she wants to do in her head and nothing's going to stop her really with what she's got in mind."
And as some may have guessed, Keanu is at the top of her list of people to get even with.
But according to Lucy, and as viewers will probably witness, Lisa is keeping a dark secret.
"She's always had lots of issues", she recalled.
"And once again, there are things that she's keeping secret and things are obviously going wrong in her life again, really on another level. But she's definitely a woman with a mission."
"She's definitely being cagey about something."
But how will Keanu react once he sees Lisa with his daughter Peggy in tow?
This remains to be seen but Lucy has made it clear she isn't ready to forgive any of his actions.
"She thinks that he's been a really bad dad and he's been an absent father", she explained.
Could she return on a permanent basis to make Keanu's life a nightmare?
Asked about her reasons for returning to Albert Square in the summer, Lucy opened up on what encourages her to get back to the set of the London-based show.

"It seems to me that my character does kind of keep keep coming back about every couple of years", she said.
"She just goes off on such different tangents all the time. But I love coming back and playing what they write for me."
"Every time they've asked me to come back I've had great stuff to do. So you know I've come back each time they've requested."
Lucy made her EastEnders debut in 1998 and left after five years in Walford.
Over the decades, she's since returned on multiple occasions in 2010, 2017 and in 2019.
