But the soap star has now quit the limelight and is working as a manual therapist, focusing on the Kasser Method osteopathy technique.

Adam is now going by the name of Eliteosteo on Instagram and has set up a page to promote his business.

He explained: "I trained with @eliteosteo over a year ago using his @kassermethod after he was the only person to help my lower back.

"I’ve helped so many friends and family with injuries and issues, I feel very grateful to be invited to head up his northern clinic.

Adam played Brody in Hollyoaks from 2017 to 2021 and filmed his opening scenes in Ibiza. They were said to be based on Daniel Craig's first scenes as James Bond in Casino Royale.

His arrival caused quite a stir and, within months, Adam was long-listed for Sexiest Male at the Inside Soap Awards.

Adam was involved in a difficult storyline during his time in Hollyoaks, with his character Brody revealing he had been abused as a child by Buster.

Then, in 2021, Hollyoaks released a trailer that saw Brody being hit by a car. In his final episode, he was knocked down and killed by drunk Warren Fox.

Adam said after his exit: "[Brody's] happy go lucky, carefree attitude was soon cut short with his past came back to haunt him in the form of Buster.

"I will forever cherish my time working on the abuse storyline for the positive impact we all made, and how well received it was by the audience.

"My time playing Brody has given me memories I will never forget and friends I’ll keep for a lifetime."

He added: "If you’ve loved Brody or hated him, just know I appreciate you watching him. Goodbye, Brody, and thanks for everything.”

Adam won several awards for his role as Brody. He scooped Best Male Dramatic Performance at the 2019 British Soap Awards and Best Actor at the 2019 Inside Soap Awards.
