Vick Hope hits back after BBC viewers claimed her ‘inappropriate’ mini-dress ‘put them off their breakfast’
TV and radio star Vick Hope has hit back after she was criticised for wearing a short skirt on the telly.
The 33-year-old’s mini-dress was branded ‘inappropriate’ by BBC Morning Live viewers, with some even claiming her leggy display put them off their breakfast.
During Monday’s episode, Vick – who was hosting with Gethin Jones – wore a floral frock with puffed up sleeves.
Despite looking amazing, not everyone was happy about her look, with one person moaning: “It is really inappropriate to be wearing a mini dress whilst sitting presenting this show. Putting me off my breakfast!”
A second said: “I love this show but can someone please tell your female presenter today to wear a midi dress!!”
While another commented: “Please tell the female presenter to wear longer skirts!! It's not the first time!!”

Vick found the remarks very amusing and decided to share them with her fans, adding: “Good morning! It's not the first time [crying emoji]”.
She later told her followers: “Doing the radio from MCR this week, HOWLING at all your responses to my short dress Karens, you legends.
“’They're legs, Gill and at the top of them there's a vagina.’”
Vick is currently one of the busiest women in showbiz, as she is also hosting the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show with Jordan North.
But she’s also got a thriving personal life and is engaged to marry DJ Calvin Harris, 39.
Last year, the Scott stunned Vick when he popped the question with a £1million diamond ring after a five-month romance.
The couple spend a lot of time in Ibiza, where Calvin DJs.
Vick has not publicly spoken about their engagement but did recently open up about being happy.
“It just takes time – it's about getting older, and surrounding yourself with the right people and the right things... and to just try to have fun. Life is too short.”
