Huge BBC star shares unrecognisable throwback pic that fans say looks EXACTLY like Liam Payne
A POPULAR BBC star looks unrecognisable in an unearthed throwback snap.
The man in question has appeared on a number of hit food shows - but with his dark hair and chiselled features, fans think he looks like a member of boyband One Direction.
One wrote underneath the snap on Instagram: "Why does that look like Liam Payne."
Another added: "Looks like Liam Payne", while a third shared: "Liam Payne all day long!"
However it's not 29-year-old Liam, but in fact Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace.
Gregg, 58, is best known for his bald head and glasses on the hit BBC cookery competition, so it's no wonder his fans were shocked by the throwback snap showing him with a full head of hair.

As well as Masterchef, Gregg has also worked on Inside the Factory, Eat Well For Less and Supermarket Secrets.
He also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and has appeared on Who Do You Think You Are?
Earlier this month, Gregg appeared on Loose Women, but fans were baffled when he got cut off while trying to mention his weight loss.
Gregg was on the show to discuss his weight loss and his little boy Syd’s autism.

The show came to an end around 25 past one, before the ITV Lunchtime News started.
It meant Ruth had to tell Gregg he had “three seconds” to quickly mention his weight journey.
And fans couldn’t understand why Gregg’s interview was so “rushed”.
One penned: “Loose Women always cut off their guests maybe put them on first.”
A second added: “Would of liked to hear more about what Gregg Wallace had to say.
“Disappointing the waffle from Ruth and co was so unnecessary.”
