Shock Emmerdale exit as villager quits their job and flees the village
VINNY Dingle has come to new money after selling Mill Cottage to Caleb Milligan.
Unfortunately, another Emmerdale resident soon takes advantage of his kindness and flees the village in explosive scenes.
Vinny Dingle (portrayed by Bradley Johnson) is slowly moving on from the heart-breaking death of his wife.
As mentioned above, the character sold Mill Cottage, where he lived with the late Liv Flaherty, to repenting villain Caleb Milligan.
He also recently found a potential love interest in the form of Naomi Walters (Karene Peter) and their bond is blossoming fast.
Naomi herself has also gone through her fair share of tough moments in the eponymous ITV village.
And after some rocky beginnings, she’s finally found a routine she can rely on by working in The Woolpack kitchen.
More recently, she was shocked when both her grandmother Claudette and grandfather Victor rocked up the Dales.
While Claudette has caused some minor trouble since her arrival, Victor (Eddie Osei) has been considered a threat by his own son Charles after he was released from prison.
Victor was thrown behind bars two decades ago and has been adamant on forming a relationship with his long-lost family, while Charles has been more reluctant to allow him in.
In scenes airing next week, Charles is proven right about Victor as the criminal starts to whisper in Naomi’s ear, comforting her worst impulses.
It all begins when Victor is saddened to see Naomi’s money woes and he nudges her towards getting some of Vinny’s windfall.
Soon, Naomi’s taken aback when Vinny offers to lend her some money and encouraged by Victor, she accepts.
A delighted Naomi receives the cash from Vinny and when Victor suggests Naomi keep her new money instead of paying off her debts she is tempted.
Later, when Naomi is accused of giving Victor free pints, humiliated, she quits her job and storms out.
Furious at her run in, Naomi vents to her grandad becoming seriously tempted by Victor’s suggestion to take her money and ditch the village to live her life.
But will she really go through with it?
