The company was ordered to shut down by the High Court, due to debts owed to his former Culture Club band mate and ex-boyfriend Jon Moss, 65.

Company assets of £324,682 are being taken by liquidators to pay him back.

The firm, set up in April 2018, was used to handle George’s music and TV pay — which would include his £500,000 fee from ITV last December.

The winding up order was made earlier this month, with the paperwork published this week.

George, also ordered to pay Moss’s legal fees, is now making moves to avoid bankruptcy.

The Sun revealed in April that he was facing a a £1.75million damages claim brought by Moss, but the pair managed to reach an out-of-court settlement.

Moss, a founding member of the band, and George were in a secret relationship at the height of the group’s fame.

Moss was sacked in September 2018 and spent £1million on his legal fight.

In January, George said: “I feel I have much to be upset about but I have to the best of my knowledge removed any real hatred towards him."
