Carol Vorderman reveals she lasted just one night at Glastonbury before heading home
CAROL Vorderman has admitted that she quit attending the Glastonbury Festival after just one day.
The popular TV presenter confessed to heading home from the Somerset festival to watch the musical performances at home on the TV.
Carol said she has simply "had enough" before heading back to her home after one night of live music.
She opened up on her bad camping expereince during her own BBC Radio Wales programme this morning.
The I'm A Celebrity star said: “The last time I went to Glastonbury when I was middle-aged, I took the kids and I got one of these really expensive glamping tents."
“And I thought, ‘Well it’s bound to be reasonable’."

The 62 year old added: "The first time I went, I just thought, ‘No this is not for me’… so I thought no, so I booked two nights in this tent at like, another mortgage, you know.
“We spent the first night there, and I thought, ‘I can’t do this, I can’t do this’ so I got back in the car, because I live in Bristol."
Throwing the towel in, she confessed: "We got back in the car and we just drove home and watched it on the telly.
“I’d had enough, I said, ‘I can’t do another night’.”

Carol will soon find herself in a much more comfortable setting after signing up to be a guest judge on the BBC's RuPaul's Drag Race.
The ex Countdown star is a huge fan of the show and has already filmed her stint alongside RuPaul and Michelle Visage.
According to the, Carol has been joined on the hit BBC programme by Vogue editor Edward Enninful.
A show insider said: "Edward was so excited when he was asked to be a judge on the show.
"He's a big fan, so he jumped at the chance to do it. It's different to anything he's done before."
The insider added: "Everything went really well. Edward was a brilliant judge.
