GLASTONBURY fans are singing the praises of a sign language interpreter who stole the show during the Foo Fighters performance.

The translator absolutely went for it during one of the band’s songs as they performed at Worthy Farm on Friday.

If you weren’t one of the lucky few who managed to get their hands on tickets to the biggest festival of the year then you can still watch along a home on BBC iPlayer.

Yesterday under the sweltering heat the Foo Fighters made a triumphant return to Glastonbury to perform a number of their best hits.

The 90s legends finished the set with an emotional version of ‘Everlong’ which lead singer Dave Grohl, 54, dedicated to their former drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022.

The Foo Fighters were not actually billed to play this year but as usual with Glastonbury people already knew they would be performing.

Under the not-so-secret name of The Churnups, fans quickly worked out it was actually the Foo Fighters.

However, it wasn't Dave and the gang that stole the show but the British Sign Language interpreter on the television for those at home.

After clocking the enthusiastic performance, one person wrote: “And because we love sign language, here’s this phenomenal signer here, doing her best with #TheChurnups… I mean, @foofighters at #Glastonbury.”

“This has got Glastonbury of to a great start. Foo Fighters with sign language," added someone else.

While another person wrote: “The sign language lady on #Glastonbury23 for the Foo Fighters is amazing.”
