Countdown’s Rachel Riley leaves host Colin Murray blushing with word ‘too rude to broadcast’
RACHEL Riley left Colin Murray blushing with a word 'too rude to broadcast' on Countdown.
The beloved Channel 4 letters and numbers show is presented by Colin, 46, and Rachel, 37.
While Colin has only recently joined the show after Anne Robinson stepped down, he's become a hit with fans.
Rachel has been a staple of Countdown ever since she joined in 2009, having replaced Carol Vorderman.
The show often amuses fans when a rude word accidentally pops as contestants choose between consonants and vowels.
Recalling her very first rude word, Rachel told Metro.co.uk: "I still remember some of my first words.

"I think I got 'erection' and that was the winning word! Everyone else had missed it and I was like, 'Well, this is an eight.'
"And 'horniest' that was one of my first ones."
The mum-of-one went on to admit that she tries to put off her co-host Colin with the explicit words.
She admitted: "He’s used to broadcasting so I could have a rude word just to put him off.

"I know it’s not going to make the edit, I’m just trying to put him off and he’s trying to keep a straight face.
"I’m putting something horrendous up on the board just for my own amusement really."
Rachel regularly stuns viewers with her gorgeous outfits on the show.
Last week the star wowed in a figure-hugging floral dress as she embraced the summer weather.
Countdown airs weekdays from 2:10pm on Channel 4.
