Caleb Milligan takes drastic action to save life in the village in Emmerdale
LIFE in the Dales becomes quieter for Caleb Milligan after his true motives were finally rumbled.
The Emmerdale schemer takes action to help his son Nicky settle into the Yorkshire village as he faces a chilling threat.
Caleb (played by Will Ash) revealed that he was Frank Tate's illegitimate son after Kim Tate figured out he'd been up to no good.
Determined to get what he firmly believes he's due, Caleb vowed he would make Kim pay but his own son Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) grew tired of him.
Nicky previously turned his back on Caleb by exposing him to Gabby Thomas after he realised he was unable to follow through with their plan.
And in a shocking twist, the hunk pushed his own father off a woodland ridge out of anger, nearly killing him.
But in scenes airing next week on ITV, Caleb and Nicky don't allow the past to have a holder over them and the former decides it's time he tried to fix things.
It all begins with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) who is frustrated to discover Nicky's plans to continue living in the village with Caleb.
Brave-faced, she issues Nicky a warning and Caleb is prompted into action.
Caleb wishes he could fix things for his son who is still upset regarding his relationship being over with Ally.
A little while later, Caleb extends an olive branch to his son by presenting him with a present.
