BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent was left stunned and screaming in shock today as the studio descended into chaos thanks to a rowdy guest.

The TV star let out a huge shriek as the most recent winner of Britain's Got Talent ran amok though the BBC studios.

Sally, 51, was on hosting duties alongside Jon Kay as the chaos broke out.

Viggo Venn burst into the studio with his usual high energy as he began marching and dancing around leaving both Sally and Jon open-mouthed.

Sally then let out a high-pitched scream as Viggo dived behind her and the sofa as she could be heard panicking as she asked: "Oh my goodness, where has he gone?"

"Where is he going?"

Viggo then appeared to throw what looked like cereal into the air and over himself and the show's hosts.

Sally and Jon nervously chuckled as the comedian then launched himself onto the sofa from the back of the set as she remarked: "Well I'm definitely awake now."

Just as it appeared that the star was ready to settle down for his interview, he quickly got back up and began running in circles around the hosts as his signature track, Daft Punk's One More Time, played out across the studio.

It left Jon joking that Viggo had drank a "triple espresso" before coming on the show.

However the over-the-top display did not go down too well with fans as they were all left saying the same thing online.

One wrote: "This is utter cringe... and Sal looks petrified."

Another joked: "It's nice they have a clown on this morning. Usually they just have someone from Parliament."

As a third asked: "This guy supposed to be funny?"

Viggo was in the studio to chat to the hosts about his upcoming tour following his victory on the ITV talent show.
