While recording an episode of the long-running Channel 4 holiday home show, the star and its jet setters were halted due to less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Going against the show's name, production had to pause due to a downpour of rain.

In the video, the host is under an umbrella, and talking to the camera, she said: "So rain has stopped play."

Jasmine then panned her camera to hopeful holiday homebuyers Jill and Ronnie and said: "This is Jill and Ronnie, my very brave house hunters."

Despite stopping their pursuit for a dream property, the duo smiled as they huddled under an umbrella.

Jasmine continued: "Bracing the A Place in the Rain this morning, we are just waiting for it to subside a little bit so we can carry on filming."

In the video, she revealed that at one point, she had to seek refuge in her car due to the rain and passed the time by having her first croissant in years, a vegan croissant.

The episode was a bit stop start for the TV presenter as just before the downpour, Jasmine shared a video of diggers close by to one of the houses, which caused a racket and added to the chaos.

Jasmine also shared a rainy snap on her Instagram with her 129,000 followers.

With her blue umbrella in the air, she captioned her smiley and slightly wet photo: "A Place in the Rain - new idea for a tv show!! LOL! At least my brolly matches my frock! @aplaceinthesunofficial #aplaceinthesun."

Jasmine then referenced the dress she was wearing and how it was part of her range for the clothing company Cotton Traders.

One fan commented on the post: "You still look lovely even in the rain."

Along with a laughing emoji, another added: "It's not all glamour, innit?"

"How about singing in the rain," a third joked.

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
