Holly Willoughby shares jokey video with new co-host Dermot O’Leary as she puts Phillip Schofield scandal behind her
HOLLY Willoughby has shown she's put the Phillip Schofield scandal behind her and is focusing on moving forward with her new co-host.
The 42-year-old has been presenting This Morning with Dermot O'Leary this week and it seems the duo get on great off-camera too.
Holly took to Instagram to share a clip of Dermot, 50 - poking fun at him struggling after a night of little sleep.
In the video the former X Factor host can be seen attempting to wake himself up by submerging his face in ice water.
An amused Holly added: "This is how @dermotoleary wakes up after having one three hours sleep [laughing emoji].";
It comes after Phillip Schofield, Holly's former presenting partner of many years, left the show.
Phillip stepped down from ITV after confessing to an extra-marital affair with a much younger male runner on This Morning.
The 61-year-old revealed he was “utterly broken and ashamed” — but stressed he did not groom the younger man.
ITV announced that Holly would co-host alongside various This Morning presenters in light of Phil's exit.
However fans were left convinced a major clue was dropped about Phil's permanent replacement when Dermot confirmed he would be joining Holly for two weeks.

The shake-up means Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle will not co-anchor with Holly for the next fortnight.
Instead Holly and Dermot will offer viewers a more stable presenting partnership than in recent weeks.
Fans are now convinced Friday host Dermot will end up being a main presenter.
A viewer wrote: "I think Dermot is a good choice to replace Philip on This Morning."
Another said: "This Morning should keep Dermot with Holly."
"I'm liking the Dermot and Holly combination," said one.
