Is Suki Panesar leaving EastEnders?

EASTENDERS fans are concerned that Suki Panesar could be leaving Albert Square.

It comes after the business woman was found lifeless after a violent clash with her husband, Nish.

Who plays Suki Panesar on EastEnders?

EastEnders character Suki Panesar is played by Balvinder Sopal.

The actress joined the BBC One soap in 2020.

Speaking previously about being part of the soap, Suki told : “I love seeing the Panesars at the forefront of the storylines, not just in for diversity or representation.

“I want us to be just like the Carters or the Truemans or the Mitchells – interesting as a family, but also authentic to where we come from."

Away from EastEnders, Balvinder has also starred n other soaps including Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

What has happened to Suki on EastEnders?

On the EastEnders episode that aired June 7, 2023, Suki looked like she had been violently attacked after she put her plan to escape controlling Nish into action.

Taking her chance, she called the police and set Nish up to be caught on his money laundering job in the hopes he would be recalled to prison but she was horrified when he walked into the house.

As Nish decided Vinny was the one who betrayed him and called the police, Suki stood by until he began to attack her son.

She dragged Nish off Vinny and told him: “It was me alright? He told me about the job and I called the police because I don’t love you. And I don’t think I ever have.”

Suki tore into Nish, telling him she didn’t want to play second fiddle to him, and refusing to play the dutiful wife.

“I’m not doing it anymore,” she told him.

But Nish was calmly furious and ordered Vinny out of the house.

He told Suki: “I love you more than anything in this world Suki and I won’t stop until you feel the same. I’ll go and find Vinny and apologise and then I’ll come back and take care of my wife.”

With Nish and Vinny away, Suki ran to the phone and called Eve and told her to pack a bag because their plan to leave was in action.

Eve headed to the station to wait while Nish sent Vinny to get food while he headed home.

But as Vinny walked back into the house he was horrified by the scene he came across.

Nish was standing over Suki’s lifeless body with the matriarch looking very much like a murder victim.

“Dad,” said a horrified Vinny as Nish glared back.

Is Suki dead on EastEnders?

EastEnders fans all thought Suki Panesar had been murdered after she was found lifeless with husband Nish standing over her.

The immediately took to Twitter with one writing: "Really hope suki isn’t dead and nish is sent down."

A second said: "Nooo Suki. Nish what have you done?" followed by crying emojis.

Another added: "Suki laying at the bottom of the stairs and Nish stood above her.. omg???"

However, it's unlikely that Suki is dead.

Is Suki leaving EastEnders?

It has not been confirmed by EastEnders that Suki is leaving anytime soon.

Also she was featured in a flash-forward to Christmas 2023, when a group of the Albert Square ladies were seen standing over a body.

Suki was seen clearly in the Queen Vic, so this means she will still be on the soap - at least until then.

Who is leaving EastEnders in 2023?

All we know is that someone will die during the forthcoming Christmas special 2023 - but it has not yet been disclosed who is going yet.

Lola Pearce was the most recent character to leave the soap, after she died of a brain tumor.
