GEMMA Atkinson looked like she was about to pop as she showed off her baby bump.

The gorgeous mum-of-one has kept fans in the loop during the pregnancy of baby number two – including a recent snap in a black top and trousers.

Actress Gemma, 38, could be seen standing in her corridor as she snapped a mirror selfie.

Her baby bump was on show and she penned to her legion of fans: “Had my appointment with @private_midwives yestersay.

“Little man is exactly where he needs to be. Head down arse up. Head is well and truly down there now which I’m reminded of everytime I walk, sit, get in and out the car or pick up Mia.”

Gemma playfully penned “what’s in there” in a speech bubble coming out of her dog’s head.

It follows the expectant mum’s outing in a long-sleeved white frock as she presented the Outstanding Achievement award alongside and Verity Rushworth at the British Soap Awards.

The trio's former co-star Mark Charnock, who's better known as Marlon Dingle, took home the gong after 25 years in the Dales.

While Gemma's bump was under wraps, it was very much still there, so fans will need to wait a little longer to meet Gemma's second child.

Speculation went into overdrive on Thursday when Gemma's partner, Gorka Marquez, posted a sweet caption on Instagram that was misinterpreted by followers.

The professional dancer, 32, shared a snap of himself alongside fiancé Gemma and their three-year-old daughter Mia enjoying the sunshine. The caption suggested that the couple had already welcomed their second baby.

Gorka teased: "Home time with my girls before we became four."

One fan wrote: "Became?! Has Gemma had the baby?!"

A second posted: "Before we became 4 ??? Has the little man arrived?"
