Gogglebox’s Pete Sandiford reveals newborn daughter’s full name – and it has an adorable meaning

GOGGLEBOX star Pete Sandiford has revealed the adorable meaning behind his newborn daughter's name.

The reality star revealed he had become a dad for a second time on Friday's instalment of the Channel 4 show.

Pete and wife Paige, who tied the knot in May 2021, are already parents to their son Jimmy.

Sharing the exciting news with fans on Gogglebox last week, Pete shouted to his sister: “Hey Sophie, have I told you her name?

"We think we’re going to call her Evie Sylvie Sandiford.”

According to The Bump, Evie has an Australian origin and Sylvie has a Latin origin.

Her first name stands for a "woman who loves life".

Pete revealed that he was going to become a dad for the second time during an episode of Gogglebox in December.

He told the lad: "Jimbers, you're going to have a little brother or sister coming. You're going to have to milk it!"

Sophie, who had him on her knee, added: "You’re going to be a big brother."

Pete and Sophie joined Gogglebox in 2017.
