Love Island fans fume as new girl ‘copies’ villa legend Molly Mae Hague – did you spot it?
LOVE Island fans have been left fuming after new girl Molly Marsh ‘copied’ villa legend Molly-Mae Hague.
As the new Islanders headed to bed for their first night in the villa, Mitchel, who is coupled up with 21-year-old Molly, noticed she’d brought a cuddly toy to the villa.
Molly said its name was Plop after Mitchel asked, as he picked it up and took a look at the cuddly toy.
“Is it actually Plop?” Mitchell questioned, with Molly confirming it was in fact the name.
But Love Island fans have said the star is copying a former Islander with the same name – Molly-Mae Hague.
Molly famously brought in her childhood cuddly toy, fondly named Ellie Belly, when she was in the villa.

The toy became something of an icon in its own right, with Tommy and Molly still sharing their love for the unwashed toy to this day.
Taking to social media after new Love Island star Molly Marsh revealed her toy, one person wrote: "Molly trying to be liked Molly-Mae with a stuffed toy.”
Another said: “Molly looks like Molly-Mae and is now trying to be her with a cuddly toy.”
And a third added: “Molly bringing in the toy like ‘make me the next Molly-Mae’.”
21-year-old Molly Marsh is one of the sexy singletons entered the villa on Monday night.
The musical theatre performer seems to have already hit it off with Mitchel Taylor after the British public decided to pair them together.
While many Love Island fans were happy to see that their choice was the right one, others couldn't get over Molly's age last night.
One said on Twitter: "Molly … 21!!?! …."
"pls molly is not 21, let’s be fr," another tweeted.
A third chimed in: "I need to see Molly’s birth certificate because 21?……"
A fourth questioned: "Did Molly say 21?"
Speaking about going on the show, Molly told ITV: "With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island villas in Mallorca and South Africa.
"Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible."
