Channel 4 reveals hosts of new DIY show after popular series axed over bullying claims
CHANNEL 4 has signed up a new couple to front a DIY property show after Escape to the Chateau was axed amid bullying accusations.
Great Pottery Throw Down judge Keith Brymer Jones, 58, will host with his partner Marj Hogarth.
They will be restoring a church in Wales they bought for £200,000.
It comes after Escape to the Chateau husband-and-wife stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge were investigated over clashes with producers from Two Rivers Media.
The untitled show is being filmed this summer for an autumn airing.
A TV insider said: “Fans of Escape to the Chateau will love this new show.
“Keith is a much-loved member of the Love Productions and Channel 4 family
“It made sense for him to have his own show as he and Marj undertake this extraordinary passion project – restoring a very beautiful and quintessentially British building, a church, to life.
“The pair then let in the public to experience a little slice of their creative world where they can share their passion and enthusiasm.”
