BRITAIN'S Got Talent viewers were left seriously confused when a popular 90s kids character made a return to the show tonight.
After weeks of captivating audiences with extraordinary and jaw-dropping auditions, Britain's Got Talent draws closer to crowning its Series 16 winner with the fourth semi-final.
Tonight's episode saw Mr Blobby make another surprising appearance on as the show started.
Those who grew up in the 1980s will recognise, the loveable character from the Saturday night variety TV show, Noels House Party.
Viewers took to social media just minutes into the show to express their surprise at seeing the popular kids idol.
Taking to Twitter one viewer wrote: "Would actual s*** myself if mr Blobby came anywhere near me."

A second added: "What is Mr Blobby doing on there!"
A third wrote: "Well I'm confused now."
A fourth quipped: "Anyone else so baffled right now, is that Mr Blobby on stage?"
A fifth penned: "Can't get over the fact Mr Blobby is there again."

This was the second time Mr Blobby has appeared on BGT in a matter of weeks.
The character stormed the show last month and attempted to perform magic tricks for the judges.
Noel's House Party, featuring comedy character Mr Blobby, was last on screens in 1999.
But TV insiders say Noel, 69 plans to pitch a revival to other broadcasters after his successful appearance on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
A TV source said: “Noel is involved in planning a pitch alongside a production team who will take it to TV execs.
“He’s open to the show being modernised, but the basic format worked — that’s why it’s so fondly remembered.”
Noel’s House Party, broadcast from fictional village Crinkley Bottom, attracted up to 15 million viewers at its height.
