BGT fans rage as former show finalist is revealed as the voice behind Noodle the cat act
BRITAIN'S Got Talent fans have blasted the show after a former finalist was unveiled as Noodle the cat - and demanded he is 'axed' from the competition.
The mystery cartoon cat impressed judges so much with his voice earlier in the series that he was given a place in this week's semi-finals.
But in Thursday night's show, he was unmasked - and was revealed as a finalist from last year's series of BGT.
Noodle is actually singer Tom Ball who, with his incredible voice and bushy eyebrows, finished in third place in 2022.
He missed out on first place to comedian Axel Blake - yet it has still managed to forge a huge career off the back of it.
After unveiling himself, Tom admitted his BGT success has already led to a Stateside performance on America's Got Talent: All Stars, he has a tour planned and has even signed a record deal.

Viewers are NOT happy by the revelation - and also skeptical about Simon Cowell's insistence that he "didn't know" who Noodle really was.
Some are even calling for Tom to be "axed" from the contest.
One angry fan tweeted: "Someone who has made it big and had made lots of money from being a runner up on last year's final should not be allowed to be on again this year.
"Noodle and Tom should be axed from the show."
Another raged: "Why would anyone vote for Tom Ball after he just told everyone how #BGT changed his life last year and has an album and tour out this year?"
A third chimed in: "Don’t know why simon's ‘shocked’ He probably organised Tom coming on the show."
A fourth added: "Saying you have a record deal and an album coming out wasn't a wise move noodle/tom Taking an opportunity away from people that are trying to get that."
And someone else fumed: “We had no idea”…oh, bore off!! As if it isn’t a ploy by Simon Cowell to market somebody.
"After Tom Ball appeared on #BGT last year and then AGT All-Stars, I’m not buying the 'surprise'!!!"
Some eagle-eyed fans had already wondered if Noodle was a returning finalist.
After he was unveiled, Simon declared: "I wasn't expecting that!"
He added: "I never knew who was behind the cat. If you don't win the show, then just come back as a cat!
"This is so much fun."
