Coronation Street fans open-mouthed as Ryan Connor faces down acid attacker Justin in court

CORONATION Street fans are overwhelmed after Ryan Connor faced down acid attacker Justin court.

The barman - who is played by actor Ryan Prescott in the ITV soap - had refused to give evidence against Justin over fears it would all be for nothing.

Viewers know Justin’s sister Karen manipulated Daisy and ended up with information that when twisted could suggest that Daisy was responsible for everything.

In tonight’s episode Daisy faced giving evidence and she was ripped to shreds by Justin’s barrister.

She brought up Daisy’s manipulative behaviour towards Ryan Connor shortly after she arrived in Weatherfield and then demanded to know if she had given Justin mixed messages.

“I told him to leave me alone over and over again,” Daisy hit back. 

“That is not a mixed message. [I was nice to him] at the start for like five seconds. His mum was dying. 

“But after that, never, no. I changed my number, I blocked him on my socials, I went to the police…”

Daisy was then asked about setting Justin up to be arrested after he attacked her and she lied.

But after she was excused, Daisy was crestfallen until the prosecution interrupted the judge’s call to question Justin.

“Your honour, I have one final witness,” the lawyer said. 

“The prosecution calls Mr Ryan Connor.”

Ryan then walked in and viewers were overwhelmed.

One wrote: "Oh no Ryan is here. This is tense."

A second said: "I can't even watch."

Another added: "This is going to be very interesting."
