AMANDA Holden has come under fire after she defended a stand-up comedian who made some controversial jokes on Wednesday night's live semi final.
The BGT judge, 52, praised comedian Markus Birdman who made a joke about following children and one about his 13-year-old daughter playing a prostitute in a play.
Following his performance, Amanda was quick to hit out at "wokery and snowflakes".
During his set, Markus joked: "You don't know fatherly pride until you see your then-13 year old daughter play a 'lady of the night' and absolutely nail it."
He continued: "Any women here? I no longer make jokes at the expense of women, which is a shame, because I had some really good ones."
Later, he spoke about "following your dreams", saying: "Dreams are like children, if you follow them too long, people get very suspicious."

Amanda was quick to congratulate him on his daring routine.
She said: "For all the wokery and all the snowflakes out there, I applaud you because this is the way forward not the other way. Well done."
But not all viewers agreed with Amanda's comments.
One wrote: "Watched ten minutes of #BGT for the first time in about a decade and that was long enough to Amanda Holden flap her hands about 'woke snowflakes', good to know I’ve missed absolutely nothing".

A second said: "Also literally nothing Markus said was actually going over the line to me? Like where did Amanda feel the need to talk about snowflakes and wokery? #BGT"
"Amanda Holden though. Just genuinely thick as pg s***. No talent. No integrity. Just a tedious boring woman that clearly has something on Simon to still have this job. 16 years she’s been doing this. Baffling #BGT," a third echoed.
This person posted: "Does Amanda Holden want a job on GB News? Throwing "wokery" and "snowflakes" into the critique of a comedian #BGT"
Another commented: "Amanda Holden calling out “snowflakes and wokery” on #BGT give me a BREAK."
While this viewer tweeted: "Amanda is so cringe dropping the term wokery into her critique of an absolute s**** comedian."
Although Amanda was full of praise, not all of the judges were impressed with the routine and Simon Cowell was quick to press his red buzzer.
Speaking about his decision while the audience jeered, he said: "Why are you booing me? You weren't laughing.
"That was the whole point. When we sit here, I gauge the reaction most of the time from what you hear behind us.
"Whether you're a singer, dancer, comedian, and yeah, and if you're a comedian how loud is the audience laughing?

"And compared to the comedian we had last night... not enough and that is the reason I buzzed you."
Markus was booted out of the competition last night after failing to secure enough public votes.
