Emmerdale fans thrilled as ITV takes soap back ‘to the good old days’ this week
EMMERDALE viewers were thrilled as the ITV soap returned to its original time slot - but only for a week.
The soaps schedule has been thrown into chaos as the Britain’s Got Talent’s live shows start tonight.
Emmerdale and Coronation Street will be booted out of their usual slots to make way for the nightly live episodes of the talent competition.
Emmerdale will air one episode each weeknight at 7pm.
That will be followed by one 30 minute episode of Corrie at 7.30pm.
Both soaps will be followed by two-hour-long live broadcasts of Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finals.

One said: "Yes! Back to Proper #Emmerdale Time 7pm."
Another wrote: "#Emmerdale at 7pm and #Corrie at 7.30 tonight and all this week on ITV1. (just like the good old days)"
