Tanya Bardsley lost £20,000 after being conned by tradesman hired to build a bar in £2million mansion
THE Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley has revealed she was conned by a tradesman hired to build a bar in her £2million home.
The mum of two, 42, who is married to former Manchester United and Burnley FC defender Phil, decided to revamp the five-bedroom mansion after it failed to sell.
She posted on Instagram: “We have had the longest renovations ever, even had a workman run off with £20,000 we gave him for materials for our bar.
“But in the midst of the nightmare, we found our angel Trevor Parker.
“Not only does he turn up when he says, but he produces beautiful tables, worktops, anything you want, and he has now become a good friend.”
When asked if she got her money back, Tanya responded: “Nooooo.”

Another said: “Hopefully karma will catch them and you get your money back.”
But she said the “nightmare” ended when “we found our angel Trevor Parker”, who “turns up when he says and produces anything.”

As well as putting in a bar, Tanya posted a picture of a stunning marble dining room table she’s had made by new builder Trevor, who owns Eden Worktops.
The refurb came after they failed to sell their luxurious mansion - which boasts a spa, jacuzzi, games room and cinema - after putting it on the market in May 2020 for offers over £1.8million.
That came after they were forced to redecorate following a fire in August 2018.
A TV under a skylight exploded while their teenage daughter Gabriella was at home, destroying the top floor.
