INBETWEENERS actor Simon Bird has revealed a new career 13 years after playing nerdy Will.
The actor, 38, played the role of Will McKenzie in the award-winning comedy series.
And now he's changing things up as he swaps the limelight and works behind the camera.
Simon is also well known for his role as Adam Goodman in Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner.
He is now the lead director on new BBC Three sitcom Such Brave Girls.
The Inbetweeners star has already been spotted on set of the series, which is currently filming in Liverpool

The star was also spotted hard at work in the background of one of the show’s lead star Kat Sadler’s Instagram Stories earlier this week.
It comes after Simon disappointed fans by revealing he wouldn't be up for an Inbetweeners reunion.
Yet Simon, who starred alongside Emily Atack as well as Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and James Buckley did hint there could be more to come.
He told this would not be in the form of a series, to follow the seasons aired between 2008 to 2010.

He said: "It's a hard no, I'm afraid, much better to leave it as a happy memory."
Yet Simon, who has since gone on to star in comedy series Friday Night Dinner, then teased: "Cut to us all doing a third film for Netflix next year, anything's possible."
