BRITAIN'S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden hit back at fans following Sunday night's explosive final.

The grand final saw Viggo Venn crowned champion in a dramatic conclusion to this year's series which left many fans divided over the result.

Taking to Instagram, Amanda Holden uploaded a stunning picture of herself in her BGT final outfit.

One fan who was angered by the result commented on Amanda's post saying: "Absolutely disgraceful results."

Amanda was having none of it and made clear the reason behind Viggo's success. She quipped back at the fan: "It's a public vote."

    BGT finalist Amy Lou-Smith said that she’s already had offers lined up for her following her appearance in the series.

    The singer from Tipton told ITV News Central: “I think I am still on adrenaline at the minute but it’s just been magnificent. I am just so sad it’s all over but it was just an incredible experience.”

    To show their support, over 200 people gathered at Tipton Sports Academy after her boss Nicki Price organised an event which sold tickets and raised money for MacMillan, in memory of Amy’s uncle.

    Speaking before the final, Nicki said: “Whatever the outcome, Amy Lou is already a winner in the eyes of Tipton.”

    The mother of 14-year-old Cillian O’Connor has spoken out on the positive effects Britain’s Got Talent had on the magician – who made it all the way to the final and finished in third.

    She told the Irish Mirror: “We’re still in shock that he made it the final. We actually didn’t even get a chance to get over the fact that he made the finals.

    “It was all panic trying to get something together for the final. You never imagine he would even make it to the final. It is surreal. It has always been Cillian’s dream to be on Britain’s Got Talent so he’s been submitting videos to apply since he was about eight or nine so that is how long it has been his dream.

    “So once he got the audition, we thought ‘oh my god’ he’s going to get his dream. We didn’t really care what happened, we thought that ‘this your dream and we will do what we can to get you there but after that it is up to you’.”

  • Who is Malakai Bayoh?

    Talented young singer Malakai Bayoh is just 13-years-old.

    The teenager is a member of the Choir of St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, and also the Schola Cantorum of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School. 

    Britain’s Got Talent isn’t his first time performing in front of a huge audience, as he sang at the Royal Albert Hall, performing arias by Mozart and Handel to great acclaim.

    Malakai has also sung at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

    During his Britain’s Got Talent audition, Malakai belted out Pie Jesu and left everyone speechless.

    As he performed the song, Bruno Tunioli teared up as he watched on from his seat.

    But Bruno wasn’t the only one who loved his performance – as head judge Simon Cowell decided to press his golden buzzer.

  • Who are Ghetto Kids?

    The Ghetto Kids are a dance and music group founded in 2014 by Daouda Kavuma, and are composed of children from an orphanage in Uganda.

    They shot to fame in 2014 when a video of the Ghetto Kids dancing to Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss went viral.

    Since then the Ghetto Kids have gone on to tour throughout Africa and beyond.

    For their BGT audition, the Ghetto Kids performed a break-dance routine to Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William, mixed with (Waka Waka) This Time For Africa’by Shakira. Midway.

    During their performance judge Bruno Tonioli pressed his golden buzzer, making this the first time the buzzer had been pressed prior to the ending of an act.

  • Viggo Venn celebrates with fans after winning show

    Britain’s Got Talent star Viggo Venn celebrated his winning moment with fans on Sunday night.

    The newly crowned BGT winner dashed out of the theatre in his red tux and climbed onto a bollard as members of the audience cheered and took his picture.

    Viggo lapped up the adoration and couldn’t stop beaming as he danced around.

    And his success wasn’t the only memorable moment of the night – host Ant McPartlin was left in hysterics after nabbing a hi-vis jacket from Viggo’s act.

    The presenter was pictured with a vest draped over his head in the back of a car with wife Anne-Marie Corbett as they headed home.

    After a dramatic final, comedian Viggo Venn took the top prize, with the comedian beating out singers, dancers and a slew of other performers.

    Viggo and his iconic high-vis jacket won the top prize and despite being booed by audiences, the BGT judges praised the 33-year-old comedian.

    Judge Alesha Dixon told Viggo how he had “captivated the nation” with Bruno Tonioli adding his comedy was “world class”.

    Simon said: “I have never ever met an act like you in my life, I will admit it, I really really love you now.”

    Viggo made it to the final two alongside gymnast Lillianna Clifton and magician Cillian O’Connor.

  • Susan Boyle reveals secret health battle as she makes surprise BGT appearance

    Susan Boyle last night revealed her secret health battle after appearing as a surprise guest during the final of Britain’s Got Talent.

    Susan, who appeared on stage alongside X Factor star Lucie Jones, admitted that last April she suffered from a minor stroke.

    The 62-year-old told the audience: “It feels great [to be back] – it’s extra special for me actually because last April I suffered a minor stroke.

    “And I thought I wouldn’t get back on stage and I have done it.”

    Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli broke down in tears after singer Malakai Bayoh‘s took to the stage during the BGT final.

    Bruno struggled to contain his emotions after the 13-year-olds performance had ended.

    He told Malakai: “You floored me, it is a very important Italian anthem. By the way that crystal clear note at the end, I think you killed me.”

    The BGT winner had a planned appearance on daytime show Lorraine, however, the host announced that Viggo Venn won’t be going on air just moments before he was supposed to be on the ITV show.

    According to Lorraine KellyViggo Venn was feeling ill and so he couldn’t make his interview.

    Fans are labelling the Britain’s Got Talent final a “fix” as they believe that the “wrong act won” the ITV talent contest.

    While some were delighted that Viggo Venn – a comedic act – won this year’s series others have called the triumph a “disgrace.

    One fan said on Twitter: “An absolute disgrace. Disgusting,” while another added: “Well, that was a huge letdown, Lillianna was superb.”

    “Got to be the worst act ever to win BGT,” penned a third as someone else fumed: “Lillianna should’ve been the winner over Viggo that has to be the worst final EVER!!”

  • BGT Finals sees record low in viewing figures

    The Britain’s Got Talent final on Sunday only had 5.3 million people watching it, excluding those on catch-up or online.

    It comes as it’s a significantly lower amount than last year’s six million.

    Figures show that Britain’s Got Talent had the most viewers for its final back in 2009, when 18 million tuned in to watch Susan Boyle perform.

    However, since then, the show struggled to have those amounts of viewers watching them again.

  • Fans concerned that Alesha is “over” BGT

    Britain’s Got Talent viewers were worried that judge Alesha Dixon wasn’t enjoying Sunday’s final after an awkward moment with Bruno Tonioli.

    The new judge stroked Alesha’s arm while she was commenting on one of the acts which saw her turn to Bruno in surprise and proceed to laugh it off.

    Fans were left questioning: “what happened with alesha and bruno??” while another viewer added: “she seems so done this week but i don’t blame her.”

  • BGT voting percentages revealed

    It’s been revealed that Viggo Venn won Britain’s Got Talent by a clear advantage as he gained 22% of the public vote.

    Runner up who is a gymnastic dancer came second in the competition with 13.1% of the overall vote.

    And magician came in third with 11.8% of the public vote – which gave the Viggo a clear win.

    Many Britain's Got Talent fans fumed after Sunday's final, which saw Viggo Venn crowned as series champion.

    Lashing out at the final result, one fan said on Twitter: "An absolute disgrace. Disgusting."

    A third was left raging after Viggo took the crown from a more 'worthy' winner, writing: "Well, that was a huge letdown, Lillianna was superb."

  • Who is Lilliana Clifton?

    Lilliana is a solo dancer, from Liverpool and aged just 13.

    The young talent began dancing when she was only four and quickly fell in love with it.

    Liliana’s audition was set to Train Wreck by James Arthur and included an array of pirouettes, aerial kicks, flips and an impressive handstand.

    Alesha Dixon commented on her performance saying the young dancer left her “speechless” with Bruno Torioli saying, “you’re a dramatic actress as well as a fantastic dancer, I saw some excellent ballet steps and the gymnastics was out of this world.”

    In the final she performed to Loreen’s Tattoo and she finished as runner-up behind Viggo with 13.1% of the vote.
