She confessed she had been inspired to get in touch with Liquorice after spotting their designs in a costume studio.
Dolly-Rose told host Lorraine Kelly, 63, of her character's dress: "It had to be the best she has ever looked in her life.
"The lights are the best bit!"
Host Lorraine then said: "You got someone very special to do that," before Dolly said: "I did! I got Liquorice Black.
She added: "She's amazing."
Explaining more about the design she said: "It came in two parts.
"Liquorice made this one [pointing to the long train version] and there was also a shorter one, another shorter one that came to the knee.
"The smaller one is never seen in the shot but it was so Sam could get closer to me so we could both fit in the frame."
They said: “It stands out in a club and pictures because everyone’s so colourful and vibrant.
"I originally just wanted to be an arty club kid but it evolved into drag.
“More time goes into making everything than people expect – an outfit can take two months. When I first went out in a dress, it wasn’t this big liberating moment. I felt awkward and had to slowly chip away at it.”
