VIEWERS of The Chase have accused the show of giving Mark 'The Beast' Labbett an "easy question" which helped his opposing team LOSE £90,000.
Fans were left on the edge of their seats during the latest episode of the ITV1 game show after three players accumulated the enormous prize pot.
But in the Final Chase, they were stunned to hear one of the questions posed to Chaser Mark.
Host Bradley Walsh asked: "Apple Airpods are made to be worn on what part of the body?"
Without hesitation, The Beast gestured to his head and correctly replied: "In the ears."
He then went on to win the final round, with nine seconds left on the clock.
Fans of The Chase couldn't believe their eyes - and ears - with many ranting about the level of questions.
One tweeted: "Question to the chaser on #TheChase where on the body are Apple AirPods worn. FFS."
Another raged: "Air pods ...... bulls*** questions."
A third said: "P*** easy questions for the Chaser. Guessing the bean counters said "No!" to a £90K payout."
And a fourth added: "Knew Mark would get easy questions!"
Earlier in the show, players Julie, Sue and Darran had answered a staggering 21 Cashbuilder questions correctly, earning them their healthy prize pot.
But in The Final Chase, Mark only had to beat 16 correct answers - and he did it with nine seconds to go, despite four pushbacks.
Contestant Darran, a 35-year-old distiller from Scotland, was particularly gutted. He had brought an incredible £74,000 to the table.
Bradley told him: "Darran, you look devastated, mate."
Unconvincingly, Darran replied: "I'll get over it."
Mark, meanwhile, failed to hide his glee at beating the trio.
Smirking, he said: "Sorry about that!"
