EastEnders star Molly Rainford teases shock love interest for the Knight sisters

EASTENDERS newbie Molly Rainford has revealed that her character Anna Knight looks set to be in for a summer of love on the BBC soap.

Strictly star Molly has joined the show as part of the spanking new Knight family who have taken on the running of the Queen Vic.

She will be joined by Francesca Henry who plays her sister Gina and Molly has teased that both of them will have their fair share of romantic attention in Walford.

Molly admitted that Anna will be looking to play the field in Albert Square after living in Marbella.

The actress said: "We’ve come from Marbella, grown up quickly. She's excited to explore the new eye candy on the Square rather than look for something too serious too soon, just excited to be there."

Whilst co-star Francesca had a more carefree approach when asked who her character Gina would be setting her eyes on.

Joking, she said: "Anything with a pulse."

Elsewhere, Molly revealed that her mentor on the show was James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler.

The pair starred together on the most recent series of Strictly before singer and actress Molly landed a role alongside him on the show.

Molly said of her connection with James: "Mine [mentor] is the wonderful Jimmy Bye who I met previously on Strictly.
