I won Love Island but blew the entire £25k prize in just two years – here’s what I spent it on

LOVE Island star Liam Reardon has revealed how he blew his entire £25,000 prize money in just two years.

The Welsh hunk - who won the 2021 summer series alongside Millie Court - admitted he was "living the high life" after the villa, which quickly reflected on his bank balance.

Liam, 23, said he squandered the cash on takeaways, partying and taxis after the show.

Joining Chloe Burrows on her podcast Chloe vs The World, she asked: "You won £25k - what did you spend it on?"

Liam replied: "I could not tell you, do you know when you come off and you're trying to live the high life.

"It was spent on Deliveroo, taxi, McDonald's - I can't really say where it went too much.

"When I came off, I did an interview and they said what's the money going towards and I said my property business.

"Two years down the line and I still haven't set up no property."

It comes after Liam revealed the real reason he signed up to Celebs Go Dating - just two months after splitting from Millie.

He appeared on the most recent series of the popular E4 show, supposedly looking for love.

However, the reality star has now confessed that he joined the show for the money.

He said: "I went on it as it was a business opportunity, for the money.

"If you had have asked me two years ago when I was on a building site 'you're going to go on a show, do a couple of days and get paid this' I would have been like 'f***ing hell'."

"I knew it was a controversial thing because it was only two months after me and Millie broke up," he added.

Liam said at the time he wasn't "ready to be out dating on TV" but he had to take the opportunity.

The former couple announced their break-up last July, but they have since been pictured together on holiday after rekindling their romance.
