Ten Pound Poms fans left in tears by ‘sick’ animal cruelty scene as dog punched unconscious in Michelle Keegan drama
BBC VIEWERS all have the same complaint about Ten Pound Poms after witnessing a violent animal attack.
The drama kicked off last week and stars Michelle Keegan and Warren Brown.
Ten Pound Poms follows a group of Brits who leave the country in the promise of a better life.
It's set in a dreary 1950s post-war Britain that was still experiencing food shortages.
But for just ten pounds Britons are offered a new identity down under in Australia.
However, the second instalment left viewers stunned and were all left with the same complaint.

Taking to social media, they slammed the scene that showed character Dean (David Field) violently punch a dog twice and knocking it out and stops moving.
One fan said: "Is nobody going to mention the fact that a******* knocked his dog out?! Made me feel sick that did."
Another wrote: "So horrible, punching & knocking out a dog like that."
A third penned: "OMG why did he punch the dog???? #tenpoundpoms can you even knock out a dog with a punch?"

A fourth added: "Oh no that really upset me… poor dog."
Viewers also slammed the show for being "far too tense" and not reflective of its title - or era.
During episode two viewers saw Terry (Warren Brown) haunted by the car crash the night before where he and Dean ran over a boy and fled the scene.
Michelle Keegan's character Kate also got a lead on her son Michael’s whereabouts.
