The drama kicked off last week and stars Michelle Keegan and Warren Brown.
Ten Pound Poms follows a group of Brits who leave the country in the promise of a better life.
It's set in a dreary 1950s post-war Britain that was still experiencing food shortages.
But for just ten pounds Britons are offered a new identity down under in Australia.
However, as the second episode aired viewers were all left with the same complaint.

Taking to social media, they slammed the show for being "far too tense" and not reflective of its title - or era.
One fan said: "It’s far too tense for a Sunday night drama."
A second commented: "#TenPoundPoms hasn't got much to do with its title, has it? It just some dull northern period dross set somewhere in Australia. Filed in the bin."
"Watched last week’s & didn’t really enjoy it so haven’t bothered with tonight's," said a third.

While a fourth remarked: "This is the 2nd episode of #TenPoundPoms to have featured a direct telephone call from rural Australia to a London pub in 1956. What next, Facebook Messenger?"
"Stereotypical soap-style rubbish," said a fifth.
During episode two viewers saw Terry (Warren Brown) haunted by the car crash the night before where he and Dean ran over a boy and fled the scene.
Michelle Keegan's character Kate also got a lead on her son Michael’s whereabouts.
Ten Pound Poms continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
