Love Island bosses approach This Morning star’s son for summer show
ALISON Hammond nearly found herself swapping This Morning’s sofa for the Love Island villa.
I can reveal her 18-year-old son Aiden was approached to star on the summer series following the success of contestants with celeb parents such as Danny Dyer and Michael Owen.
A source said: “Alison was flattered but Aiden has turned it down.
"Producers know that contestants with a famous parent are a huge hit.”
Alison, who would have been in the “meet the parents” episode, previously revealed that Aiden never watches telly and doesn’t even tune in to watch his mum.
I can’t imagine she would have liked watching Aiden in the hideaway anyway.

Last month, Alison kept This Morning viewers waiting two hours to reveal a "disappointing" announcement - and they were furious.
After dropping clues throughout the ITV daytime show about her secret location, the presenter finally told fans she was on the set of Coronation Street.
"I'm on the famous cobbles, the iconic street, to make a massive announcement. I'm star struck," said Alison.
She then revealed This Morning will air live from the set of ITV soap Coronation Street ahead of the King's Coronation.
