Netflix reveals fate of popular comedy after two seasons – leaving fans absolutely stunned
NETFLIX has revealed the fate of one its most popular dramedy series after two seasons and fans are absolutely stunned by the decision.
Considering how often the streaming giant cancels fan-favourite shows, viewers have been on tenterhooks waiting for announcement.
Netflix confirmed it has ordered a third and fourth season of its UK number-one smash Ginny & Georgia.
The streamer made the announcement during this year’s Upfronts presentation, with the cast sharing a video to celebrate the news.
Brianne Howey, 33, who plays Georgia Miller in the show, posted the message to her 3.4 million Instagram followers.
Joined by on-screen kids Antonia Gentry, 25, (Ginny) and Diesel La Torraca, 12, (Austin) there were also a number of familiar faces including Scott Porter, (Mayor Paul) Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Felix Mallard (Marcus), Sara Waisglass (Max), and Raymond Ablack (Joe).
Viewers were left on the edge of their seats at the end of the season two finale as Georgia was arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller, Joe declare his love for her, and Ellen make up with her best friend.
The rollercoaster episode saw the three-time killer's past finally catch up with her during her fairy-tale wedding to Mayor Paul.
The last scene showed Georgia being put into the back of a police car as Paul, her kids, and the wedding guests looked on.
As Ginny held onto her little brother, Austin confided in his sister, saying, "I didn’t tell anyone".

As viewers know, the night Tom died, Austin had been playing hide and seek in the Fuller house and hid in the father's wardrobe.
He was still in there when his mum came into the room and smothered him with a pillow. He saw everything – but how did the police find out?
After finding out the news via Brianne's post, fans flooded the comments section with their thoughts.
One person wrote: "I’m glad it’s not cancelled, was starting to think it was."
"SO EXCITED," added another fan.
A third follower declared: "only 4 seasons we want more!"
"It’s about time," gushed a fourth.
