A PLACE in the Sun's Jasmine Harman has issued a warning to fans about looking after their tresses after being forced to cut her damaged hair.

Jasmine, 48 showed her fans her previously damaged hair, which appeared dry and brittle while sitting in the hair salon chair about to undergo the chop in the short video.
Then afterwards the A Place in the Sun host showed off her new healthy looking hair and asked fans "What do you think?"
Jasmine penned to her 126k followers: "What fried my hair? Watch until the end to see whether I was brave enough to go for the chop. Thanks to Jonathan at Rich Ward hair. I've been battling with damaged hair and I think I finally worked out what caused it!
"It was only the top layer of my hair and I think I styled it, hair sprayed it, then the following day, used heat tongs again to go over it, but the hairspray that was already on my hair combined with the heat, fried it!
